Doutta Galla Lions Club Teddy Bears Program

Leonie Thiele (Research Coordinator - Allergy), Dr Jennifer Koplin (Lead Research Officer - Allergy),
and Lion Joseph Tigani
The Club recently handed over Lions Trauma Teddies to the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute.
The first Teddy that same afternoon was given to a little 4 year-old girl who had just had some painful allergy tests and was feeling quite upset and ill. When she received the Teddy, a great smile appeared on her face which warmed everyone’s heart.
The little girl's name is Katie who is 4 years old, her teddy is named Lulu.
The allergy researchers are asking all the children who take Lions Teddy Bears home to give them a name before they go.
